Our Car

Our lessons are conducted in a very high specification VW Golf 8 GTI, affectionately known as ‘Grace’. Complete with air conditioning and panoramic sunroof for your comfort, the Golf GTI has been an icon in the world of hatchbacks for over 40 years! With a 5 star Euro NCAP safety rating, you will not only look good but you can feel confident in the knowledge that you are driving one of the safest cars on the market. Our car comes with an adjustable steering wheel and driver’s seat so that you will be able to find your perfect driving position. The Golf GTI has great kerb appeal but is also a total joy to drive, with excellent handling and a very smooth ride. You will be hard pressed to find a better car to learn to drive in! For your peace of mind and safety our Golf is fitted with dual controls. Your instructor will be able to take complete control of any situation should the need arise.
